SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD, 2 — 4PM WITH HEATHER ALLAMAN AND JAIME LEE NEWMAN
In this class you will create a gorgeous floral bouquet to take home for your altar, bedroom, or kitchen table.
Have you ever stopped to look at a flower? Really look, take in the beauty and mastery nature creates for us? The benefits of exercising this part of your mind in companionship with your senses is powerful medicine – inviting creativity, deepening awareness, and helping you notice more beauty in the everyday.
In this floral meditation class we will guide you to do just that. The class will begin with some light yoga lead by Heather Allaman, to tap into your intuition, feel your body and become present. We will then move into creating your very own bouquet using this intuition to guide you to your floral choices. Lead by Jaime Lee Newman, who works with these methods to bring to fruition her floral designs. She will help anyone who would like some gentle guidance during the process, keeping a present mind of the flowers themselves as the gifts from nature they are. After the completion of the floral arranging, you will use your bouquet as a meditation focal point……………..
